Six more stitches.

Well, so after 9-10 days we took out Jonah's stitches, but his leg had not healed yet! The ends of the cut were closed, but the rest was STILL gaping. You could see the deeper layers had fused, but I was shocked to see how much hadn't closed up. There was no sign of infection, but Paul thinks maybe there was a possible mild infection lingering keeping it from healing better? Who knows. So he drenched it in some bacteria killer stuff and yes,....he had to RE-STITCH. This time it was only six more stitches, but still! Poor Jonah. I think he's being a little too active too and that might be what is keeping it from healing, because really, it looked fine. No redness, no inflammation. But he runs around like nothing, you know? Silly guy. So after all that trauma, we had to get a treat. Jonah wasn't the only one with trauma. :) Poor moms and dads! So we got a lovely cupcake and the New York Cupcakes in Bellevue/Redmond. (By Crossroad Mall). Oh yum!
